Piala Waterfall

Piala Waterfall is located in Hanga-hanga Village, South Luwuk District, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia

Piala Waterfall has several levels, the surrounding forest is still beautiful, green and quite dense, if the weather is sunny and not rainy, this waterfall has light blue water. Piala Waterfall has a fairly fast flowing water that comes from a spring above the waterfall. The water is clear greenish with white rocks below. This waterfall has an average height of about 7 meters at each waterfall that flows. The flowing water is very clear and not so fast, so it is safe for swimming and playing in the water.


Piala Waterfall is located in a forest with quite dense trees, the surrounding atmosphere feels beautiful and cool. The chirping of birds typical of Sulawesi can be heard in all directions, as a sign to visitors that the habitat in the area is still preserved.


For visitors who can swim, they can try the coolness of the water or soak, but be careful considering that the pool under the waterfall has a fairly deep area. If visitors cannot swim, they can just sit around the waterfall. Visitors can also dip their feet around the waterfall to feel the freshness. Visitors can feel the sensation of the waterfall at the highest level by walking along the steps and wooden footbridge.

From the entrance, visitors can walk to the location about 200 meters and climb about 10 steps. The path that will be passed is not too difficult even though you have to pass through a relatively small path. At some points on the journey, visitors must be careful and hold on to the rope.


Tourist facilities that can be enjoyed by visitors include changing rooms, toilets, parking areas, and places to eat that provide various snacks. Meanwhile, the distance from Luwuk District, the capital of Banggai Regency, to Piala Waterfall is about 8.7 kilometers with a travel time of approximately 30 minutes.
