Beautiful Scenary from Central Kalimantan


Central Kalimantan is one of a province of Indonesia, located on the island of Borneo. The capital is the city of Palangkaraya. Central Kalimantan has an area of 157 983 km². The North consists Swachner Muller Mountains and hills, the Southern plains, swamps and marshes. Bordered by three Indonesian provinces, namely East Kalimantan, South and West as well as the Java Sea. The area is a humid tropical climate which is crossed by the equator. Geologically the threat of earthquake / tsunami landslides or major flooding has never happened in this area. Central Kalimantan beach that includes shoreline along the sea coast of Java along 750 km. Some areas have a beautiful natural landscape in this province are as follows :

1. Pantai Sungai Bakau Sungai Bakau Beach)
Sungai Bakau beach is about 15 kilometers (km) east of the city of Kuala Pembuang, Seruyan regency, Central Kalimantan. This location is within about 20 minutes using two-wheeled vehicles or four wheels of Kuala waster. However, there is no public transportation to reach them so that visitors who do not have a vehicle difficult to get there
Residents who live there call Sungai Bakau Beach for the beach which is also the estuary of Sei (River) Bakau was in the right and left covered with lots of mangrove trees.



2. Danau Biru (Blue Lake)
The lake is located at Jl. S.Parman KM 6-Pangkalanbun Sampit. The lake is often visited during the new year, holidays, holidays and weekdays. The area around the lake is full of white sand that contains lime, resulting in a long process that all the water was in the lake turns blue, the blue color of the water is not as given rather original coloring substances of natural phenomena around the venue. 



3. Air Terjun Sungai Bumban (Sungai Bumban Waterfall)

4. Bukit Bahio (Bahio Hill)
Bahio hill located in the village Tumbang Olong, sub district uut, Murung Raya district in Central Kalimantan provincial highway. Bahiyo hill consists of stone arranged but not fused to one another but there is the impression of a stone with one another position cuman stick (unstable stone)



5. Air Terjun Batu Mahasur (Batu Mahasur Waterfall)
Batu Mahasur Waterfall is a protected area with an area of 100 hectares. Waterfall iconic Kuala Kurun. In addition to beautiful scenery, the waterfall is also known to have mystical powers. There are many types of trees that grow here, for example gerunggang, cengal, meranti, benuas, and bangkirai. This waterfall is located in Kuala Kurun which is also the capital of Gunung Mas



6.  Danau Sembuluh (Sembuluh Lake)
Sembuluh Lake is a lake in Indonesia which is located in the District of Danau Sembuluh, Seruyan Raya district. This lake is the largest lake in Central Kalimantan with an area of 7832.5 ha and has a length of 35.68 km so far. This lake is a place wich estuary of many rivers, large and small such as Kupang, Rungau, and Ramania. Around the lake which covers 2,424 km2, there are several villages, namely Sembuluh I, Sembuluh II, Bangkal and Terawan.



7. Batu Suli (Batu Suli)
Batu Suli is a tourist attraction located on the banks Kahajan between the village and the stone Upon Tumbang Manange, District Tewah Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The object of this wiasata offers beautiful scenery and charming, cobblestone-shaped towering Kahayan. It is recessed Kahajan as if this stone fell into the river. Area attractions are still very natural, with forest trees that grow around it



8. Pantai Tanjung Keluang  (Tanjung Keluang Beach)
Pantai Tanjung Keluang form of clean white sand with calm sea, ideal for swimming and sunbathing while enjoying the charm of a typical beach, also be developed as sea fishing location. The beach is directly overlooking the Java Sea. This beach is located in the village of Kubu, District Kumai, Kotawaringin West, Central Kalimantan Province. This area is also used in an effort to preserve the ecosystem of flora and fauna, especially turtles species that must be protected.



 9. Taman Nasional Tanjung Puting 
(Tanjung Puting National Park)
Tanjung Puting initially a nature reserve and wildlife that are set by the Dutch government in 1937. Furthermore, based on the Minister of Forestry No. 687 / Kpts-II / 1996 dated October 25, 1996, Tanjung Puting designated as a National Park with a total area of 415,040 ha comprising Wildlife Tanjung Puting area of 300,040 ha, production forest area of 90,000 ha (ex HPH PT Hesubazah), and the waters covering 25,000 ha. Geographically, this national park covers the sub Kumai in Kotawaringin West and sub-districts in Hanau and Seruyan Hilir Regency Seruyan.



10. Air Terjun Muhung Silingan (Muhung Silingan Waterfall)
This waterfall has a height of about 25 meters with a width of 5 meters. But the water flow is very strong. Giving rise to the noise of water falling into the lake at its bottom. This waterfall is located in the forest that is located in the village Kangkalo, District Delang, Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province




11. Pantai Ujung Pandaran (Ujung Pandaran Beach)
Ujung Pandaran Beach located in the village of Ujung Pandaran Teluk Sampit Kotawaringin East Central Kalimantan province. It is located at 80 km south of the central city of Sampit. A famous beach with white sand and a wealth of marine life stretches tens of kilometers of Kotawaringin East to the border district of Seruyan. Ujung Pandaran Beach including the type sloping beach.
