Paniai, the Most Beautiful Lake in the World


Did you know that the most beautiful lake in the world is in Indonesia? The lake was declared by 157 lake owner countries in the world at the World Lake Conference in India on November 30, 2007. The lake is named Paniai which is in the middle mountain range in the interior of Papua Province, Indonesia
This lake is located at an altitude of 1,700 meters above sea level. The extent of about 14,500 Ha. This lake was once known as Wissel Meeren. The name of the person who first discovered this beautiful lake in 1938, namely a Dutch pilot.
This lake presents a truly stunning natural panorama. How not, the green nature, blue lake water, coupled with the friendliness of local residents, make anyone who visits there will feel at home for long.
Interestingly, around the lake stored values ​​of cultural arts of the local community, namely the Mee and Moni Tribal cultural arts. Maybe this also makes it seem unique in the eyes of world travelers.
Lake Paniai also stores various types of freshwater fish and shrimp. Tilapia, tilapia fish, carp / carp, black nine fish, and eel fish. A Village Called Labuan Bajo



Labuan Bajo is the capital of West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Labuan Bajo is located precisely at the western end of the island of Flores. 1.   Gili Laba Island

3.   Komodo island
Komodo Island is an island located in West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. While Labuan Bajo is located inside Komodo Island. Komodo Island is a place where dragons live, the number of kodo that lives at the moment reaches 2500 animals. . The small islands around are very charming with clear blue sea water and still clean. UNESCO recognizes the island of Komodo is a world heritage site and is one of the seven wonders of the world.
The Komodo National Park consists of several islands including Komodo Island, rinca Island, and other small islands. Some interesting activities that can be done while on vacation to the Komodo National Park include seeing the Komodo directly, playing water in the sea, diving, snorkeling. 4. Cunca Wulang Waterfall
Cunca Wulang Waterfall is located in the Mbeliling forest area. This waterfall is at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level, this waterfall looks like a green canyon but a more narrow version. Various rocks that flank along the river can be climbed because the stone does not have sharp edges.
If you have a hobby of jumping from a rock then you can do it jumping on a rock as high as 6 m in this cunca wulang waterfall, but be careful because sometimes the water discharge can be reduced if it starts to enter the dry season.





5.   Kanawa Island
Kanawa Island is an island located in East Nusa Tenggara with an area of ​​around 35 hectares. This island has a natural beauty that is very beautiful and charming, especially the beach and under the sea.
The beauty of nature is seen from the sea water which is turquoise and white sand which is still very clean. . Even its beauty can be seen from the sea surface of various coral reefs, colorful small fish, sunfish and sea turtles can be seen clearly this because sea water is still very clear. The uniqueness of this island is that when the afternoon approaches the sea water will slowly recede. For visitors who want to dive in Kanawa Island, there is a diving center available.





6.   Rangko Cave
Rangko Cave is a cave located in Rangko Village, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Rangko Cave is a cave where there is clear blue sea water which is decorated with various stalactites which makes the scenery around the cave very exotic.
However, to get to this place is quite difficult because it is easier to access using a motorbike. The location of the Rangko cave is still not on Google maps because this cave is located in the village. But on the final trip to the cave of natural beauty began to shine and the road was paved. Usually the tourist attractions of Labuan Bajo are often dismissed by black people, they are native residents of Rangko Village who offer to be guides. 7.   Padar Island

Padar Island is one of the islands that is famous after the Komodo Island. Unlike the case with the island of Komodo and rinca island, on this padar island we cannot find Komodo dragons. On the island of Padar only grows grass and there are no large trees.
From the top of Padar Island we can see the beauty of the ocean around Padar Island and other small islands. If you are going to visit Padar Island, it is recommended to use shoes because if you want to go to the top of Padar Island, it will not be comfortable if you use sandals.




8.   Batu Cermin Cave
Rock formations that are suspected to be fossil turtles are found in Batu Cermin Cave which is located in Labuan Bajo, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.On either side of the narrow road, bamboo trees grow in rows and gather. Batu Cermin Cave is composed of limestone that rises to 75 meters. The cave, located in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, was first discovered in 1951 by Theodore Verhoven, an archaeologist and missionary from the Netherlands.In his research, Verhoven concluded that in the past, the cave area was an ocean, as evidenced by the remains of marine animals and various coral reefs that became fossils on cave walls and ceilings. 9.   Seraya Island
Seraya Kecil Island, or better known as Seraya Island, is an island located in West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara or about ten kilometers north of the center of the city of Labuanbajo.
This island is indeed small and has a coastline of about one kilometer. But this island has extraordinary beauty and is a suitable place to just calm down to honeymoon. Visiting this island will make you feel like you have an island and a private beach. You can walk to the middle of the sea with a radius of about 500 meters from the beach. Various activities can be done at this place, such as fishing, swimming and snorkeling.





10.   Bukit Cinta
Labuan Bajo, Flores does have a million charms for tourists and the existence of Bukit Cinta is one of them. Located on the plains of Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, West Flores, Bukit Cinta presents a very beautiful view and panorama from the hills.
From there you will see the exotic natural panorama of Pede Beach, Wae Cicu Beach, Seraya Island, Bajo Island, or Labuan Bajo Harbor.

The name Bukit Cinta is given because this place is indeed the right spot for visitors to make love and there are indeed many young couples who spend time on this hill at night. To get to Bukit Cinta, visitors only need about 10 minutes to travel north from the center of Labuan Bajo City. It takes effort to reach the top of this hill of love.
