Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, a Magnificent Waterfall

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall or also called Coban Sewu is a waterfall with a height of around 120 meters on the border of Lumajang Regency and Malang Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall or Coban Sewu is the most beautiful waterfall on the island of Java and Indonesia. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall has a unique formation because it has a water flow that widens like a curtain so it is included in the Tiered waterfall type. The location of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is in a steep, elongated valley with an elevation of 500 meters above sea level.

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is formed in the Glidih River which originates at Mount Semeru. From Lumajang City to the waterfall location is around 55.7 km, while from Malang City it is around 66 km

Because it borders the district, this waterfall can be reached from Tumpak Sewu Waterfall located in Jagalan Hamlet, Sidomulyo Village, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Regency, or from Jagalan Hamlet, Sidorenggo Village, Ampelgading District, Malang Regency, East Java Province

This 120 meter high waterfall is decorated with green plants attached to the brownish cliff walls. The roar of the waterfall that breaks the silence seems to invite you to go down the cliff and feel the splash. The waterfall does not only flow at one point, but along the curve of the cliff, so that tourists will get goosebumps and be amazed to see it.

When they reach the bottom of the cliff, the struggle doesn't end there, because visitors have to follow the river and fight the river flow. The rocks in the river are not very slippery, but the river current is quite fast and dangerous. After going through these various obstacles, visitors will see the amazing view of Coban Sewu/Tumpak Sewu Semeru stretching proudly to the eyes of anyone who looks at it

This spectacular waterfall has been marked on Google Maps
