Ngurtafur Beach, a Unique Beach in Indonesia

Ngurtafur Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Indonesia, located on Warbal Island which is part of the Kei Islands in Southeast Maluku, Maluku Province, Indonesia.

Ngurtafur Beach is unique and different from most beaches because Ngurtafur Beach is formed from a stretch of white sand in the ocean and can be seen when the sea water recedes. Apart from the beauty of the white sandy beach, this beach also has no trees or other plants, it's just like a stretch of white sand in the ocean. The length of Ngurtafur Beach itself is around 2 km, winding like a snake when we look from a height. As if it were a path to the middle of the sea.

The beauty of Ngurtafur Beach is not only limited to the stretch of white sand stretching across the blue sea, but here we can also see hundreds of storks resting after fishing. On Ngurtafur Beach, if you are lucky, you will see a flock of leatherback turtles and what is even more exciting, you can meet the oldest turtle on Ngurtafur Beach called "Tabob".

Because this beach is uninhabited, those who come here have to bring their own supplies because there is no one selling on the beach, which is still said to be very quiet and rarely visited by tourists. For those who want to stay near the beach, there is also cheap accommodation around 150 thousand / person. To make it easier to search, this location has been marked on Google Maps

Umbul Waru Waterfall, a Truly Extraordinary Waterfall

Umbul Waru waterfall is located in Sidomulyo village, Bakung District, Blitar Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. The location is around 32 km from the city center of Blitar and can be traveled in 1.5 hours to reach the beach.

Umbul Waru Beach, where the Umbul Waru waterfall is located, can be said to offer a complete package, especially for those who love marine tourism. Starting from fine white sand, beautiful flowing waterfalls, majestic towering cliffs, it's all here. The height of the waterfall itself is no less than 80 meters.

The Umbul Waru waterfall does have a very exotic natural panorama, because the waterfall plunges directly into the sea, but it is still relatively empty of visitors, perhaps this is because access to the Umbul Waru waterfall is very difficult to get through. Moreover, there is still minimal signage, you have to often ask local residents if you don't want to get lost here.

If you are coming from the city of Blitar, follow the directions to Kademangan until you reach the T-junction on the Kademangan bridge, turn left following the directions to Tambakrejo. About 10 meters you will meet the Gawang intersection (if you go straight south to Tambak Beach) turn right following the directions to Jalan Trisula, about 3 km you will meet the T-junction, turn left following the instructions to the Tirtogaluh waterfall tourist attraction.

After that, follow the paved road until you reach the last T-junction then turn left following the directions to Pangi beach. Then follow the directions to Sidomulyo Village and after arriving at the Sidomulyo village office, from here turn right then follow the sign for the Umbul Waru waterfall which has been installed from the Sidomulyo Village office. If in doubt, don't hesitate to ask local residents.

However, on the journey after the last village, we will be tested on a fairly challenging road, we will pass several hills which have a road 1 meter wide and can only be passed by motorbike for 3 km. The rocky road goes up and down small hills and the heat and heat of the sun will always accompany you on your journey to Umbul Waru beach.

Umbul Waru beach and waterfall are still quiet due to the difficult terrain of the journey. This location has been marked on Google Maps and there is no charge to go to the beach following the Umbul Waru waterfall, all it's free

Brown Canyon, feels like Arizona

Brown Canyon is located in Rowosari Village, Tembalang District, Semarang City, Indonesia. In fact, this location is a C excavation project which is used to mine rock, sand and soil, this project is more than 10 years old and is not an official tourist attraction.

In the past, this location was just an ordinary hill, but because of daily mining activities, after the material was taken for years, the texture of this place became similar to the Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States.

The towering cliffs, with green plants growing at the top, make the view quite interesting and worth visiting, but you need to remember that if you visit during the dry season or during mining work hours, there will be a lot of flying dust, make sure to bring a mask.

The reason why there are parts that rise high is because some places have a soil texture that is hard enough to make it difficult for heavy equipment to dredge it, so these places are left alone for years and this cliff texture is formed which makes for a very cool view.
The best time to visit Brown Canyon is in the afternoon, when mining work hours have finished so we can freely walk around and take photos without having to cross paths with trucks carrying mining materials which leave a lot of dust.
Because this is not an official tourist attraction, don't expect facilities like those found at tourist locations in general. To make searching easier, this location has been marked on Google Maps

The Amazing of Goa Tetes Waterfall

Goa Tetes Waterfall is located in Sidomulyo Village, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The distance from Lumajang City to this location is around 50 km, while from Malang City it is around 65 km.

The location of Goa Tetes Waterfall is adjacent to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall which is better known to the public, but actually both cross the same river flow.

Previously, Goa Tetes Waterfall was opened with a different entrance, but now it has been combined with Coban Sewu. Access from Goa Tetes waterfall can be directly connected to Tumpak Sewu or vice versa. Although most travelers prefer the Tumpak Sewu - Goa Tetes route for reasons of ease of access.

Visitors to Goa Tetes Waterfall will get two unique spots at the same time. Waterfall tourism as well as karst or cave tourism is formed naturally by nature due to the process of rock and water.

The location of Goa Tetes is exactly hidden behind a waterfall, the seepage from the waterfall flows into the mouth of the cave and seeps between the cave walls, this process is the background for the name Goa Tetes. The flow of the Goa Tetes waterfall never subsides even during the dry season

The waterfall and the formation of the cave both influence each other, with one condition being that it occurs in a Karst area, or in general language called a Limestone area. Goa Tetes includes caves (hallways or niches) that are formed naturally by the flow of water (and continuously) through karst rocks. A cave can take the form of a long, winding passage or just a deep niche.

In general, it can only occur in two different types of rock, in limestone or Karst which is very intensive and widespread, and in special cases in basalt lava flows.

According to the latest information obtained, the entrance ticket price is IDR 5,000/person, the parking fee for tourist vehicles at Goa Tetes is IDR 2,000 for motorbikes and IDR 5,000 when using a car. This location has been marked on Google Maps to make searching easier
