Ora Beach is a beach located on
Seram Island, North Seram District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province,
Indonesia. This beach, which is located at the western end of Sawai Bay, is
next to Saleman village and Sawai village, on the edge of the Manusela National
Park forest.
Ora Beach has stunning panoramic
beauty. With turquoise blue sea water and clear waters, you can see coral reefs
and swimming fish from the surface. Tourists can enjoy beautiful views of the
sunrise, sunset and star clusters while spending the day at this beach. Apart
from that, the mountain views add value to this beach.
The exotic underwater natural
beauty can also be found on Ora beach. There is no need to snorkel and dive too
deep if you want to see the beauty of the beach's bottom surface. Only at a depth
of approximately 2 meters, travelers can see coral reefs and fish. This
activity can be done in the area adjacent to the cliff.
Visiting Ora beach there are
various interesting photo spots. The white desert is beautiful to look at,
traditional inns stand on the surface of the blue sea and beautiful green
mountains. Please note that setting foot on
Ora Island is free of charge, aka FREE. It's just that you should also be
tolerant when spending a lot of money on transportation. Because to reach this
beach from Ambon City you have to cross by ferry, across land and connect by
motorboat to Ora Beach.
On Ora Beach itself, there are
not many food stalls because the only facilities available are the Ora Beach
Resort. However, for lodging matters, there is no need to worry because there
are many lodging accommodations provided in this place for overnight stays.
What's unique is that the accommodation on Ora Beach is in the form of houses
on stilts above the sea and most of them belong to local residents, while Ora
Beach Resort is the only resort in this beach area. The accommodation in the form of a house on stilts, although not too luxurious, will provide its own experience for visitors. When you spend the night in this place, you will clearly hear the crashing of the waves, and in the morning you will be able to immediately see the view of the sea water when you open the bedroom window. The overnight rate varies depending on the facilities offered, namely around IDR 400 thousand per night for land-based houses, IDR 450 thousand per night for houses on stilts, and IDR 750 per night for floating houses.
