The Magnificent Coban Sriti Waterfall

Coban Sriti Waterfall is located in Pronojiwo Hamlet, Pronojiwo Village, Pronojiwo District, Lumajang Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. It is located to the west of Lumajang City with a distance of around 47 km.

The total height of the waterfall is estimated to be around 120 meters, although careful measurements have never been taken. Almost the same as the previously phenomenal height of Coban Sewu.

The flow of this waterfall comes from the Glidik and Besukbang Rivers, which are sometimes also called the Lengkong River. Coban Sriti Waterfall is also known as Coban Wolu. It is called Coban Sriti because it is at the foot of Mount Kukusan Sriti. Meanwhile, the name Coban Wolu was given to him because he needed to cross the river eight times to reach this waterfall.

The charm of its beauty is not only due to its height, but also from the rock cliffs that surround the location of Coban Sriti which look majestic soaring into the sky at a height of around 150 meters and looks so majestic because it is surrounded by green cliffs that rise to a height of 150 meters.

Actually, this place is still not managed professionally as a tourist attraction. The reason is difficult access and the risk of lava flooding from Mount Semeru. Coban Sriti has very clear water. However, the strong flow of water makes the pool location prohibited for swimming activities for visitors.

The route to Coban Sriti is still dirt, so you have to be extra careful when walking on it, besides that to the left there is a very deep ravine, but there is a security fence made of bamboo. Because the path is very sloping, ropes have been provided along the route to make it easier for travelers to reach the waterfall location.

The route to get to the Coban Sriti location if the initial departure is from Lumajang city center can be via the Lumajang – Malang National Road, then continue on that route until Pronowijo. From the main entrance of Coban Sriti to the waterfall location or Coban Sriti it takes around 15 minutes to travel. Be careful when passing the route to the main location of this waterfall, because the elevation slope is quite sharp and on the left side there is still a ravine. To make it easier to search, this location has been marked on Google Maps.

Anyway, there's no need to worry about HTM Coban Sriti Waterfall. Even though it holds a lot of unforgettable beauty, it doesn't cost a lot. All that is needed is enthusiasm for traveling and sufficient preparation to get to the Sriti Waterfall Waterfall Location. To be able to enter the tourist location, visitors will be charged an entrance fee of IDR 5,000. That also includes parking fees.
