Beautiful Scenary from Banten

Banten is the western most province on the island of Java, in Indonesia. The provincial capital city is Serang and has an area of 9,662.92 km². Banten is located near the Sunda Strait's strategic sea lanes that link Australia and New Zealand to Southeast Asia. Banten province has borders with Sunda Strait in the west, West Java and Jakarta in the east, the Java Sea in the north and the Indian Ocean in South.

As with other areas of the Java island, Banten province also has a lot of natural beauty that some of them are as follows

1. Pantai Tanjung Lesung (Tanjung Lesung Bach)
Tanjung Lesung is an unspoiled and serene peninsula with some of the most beautiful beaches the island of Java has to offer. Tanjung Lesung Beach location is located in the village of Tanjungjaya, District Panimbang, Pandeglang, Banten Province. Tanjung Lesung beach are in the west of the Serang with the distance of about 97 km.

2. Air Terjun Cigumawang (Cigumawang waterfall)
Curug Cigumawang (Cigumawang waterfall) is located in the village of Curug Cigumawang Kadubeureum, Padarincang subdistrict, Serang district, Banten Province. Curug Cigumawang springs from Mount Buntu. In the center of the fountain, there are a large stone covering the water source to form a small stream that flows right beside the waterfall. This waterfall has a height of 40 m. This waterfall is located in the southwest Serang with a distance of about 33 km.

3. Gunung Krakatau (Mt. Krakatau)
Krakatau  is a volcanic island situated in the Sunda Strait between the islands of Java and Sumatra in the Indonesian province of Lampung. The name is also used for the surrounding island group comprising the remnants of a much larger island of three volcanic peaks which was obliterated in a cataclysmic 1883 eruption, unleashing huge tsunamis (killing more than 36,000 people) and destroying over two-thirds of the island. The explosion is considered to be the loudest sound ever heard in modern history, with reports of it being heard up to 3,000 miles (4,800 km) from its point of origin. The shock waves from the explosion were recorded on barographs worldwide. In 1927 a new island, Anak Krakatau, or "Child of Krakatoa", merged from the caldera formed in 1883 and is the current location of eruptive activity.

4. Gua Lalay (Lalay Cave)
Goa Lalay located in the village of Cipanas, Village Sawarna, Lebak, Banten. Position is in the south Serang with the distance of 150 km. The cave, which has a depth of 10-15 km almost all of the contents in a submerged cave with water. The depth of the water in this cave can be reached calf adults. Water flowing in the cave is estimated from droplets flowing in the Cave Lalay. The water that flows thousands of years became even rocks are beautiful stalactites in the cave ceiling.
Although the cave Lalay safe to be explored, but it is recommended not to go further into the cave. It is recommended only 150-250 meters from the cave into the safest path to discover. Because if further feared would their wild animals such as snakes and poisonous air.

5. Pantai Anyer (Anyer Beach)
Anyer is the name of a district in Serang district, Banten province, Indonesia. This district has a beach that is well known as a tourist area. It is also the starting point of the Post Road, Jalan Anyer to Panarukan built by the Dutch in the nineteenth century, which lasted 1,000 kilometers on the eastern tip of the island of Java. Off the coast of Anyer is Sangiang island, an uninhabited island with vast areas of untouched forest. This area is also known for coral formations filled with tropical fish.
At Anyer beach there is also a lighthouse built by the Dutch in 1855 during the reign of Willem III of the Netherlands used to help a cruise around the Sunda Strait and Batavia at that time. Anyer beach to the west of the town of Serang with the distance of 43.4 km.

6. Ujung Kulon (Ujung Kulon National Park)
Ujung Kulon National is located at the westernmost tip of Java, within Banten province of Indonesia. It includes the volcanic island group of Krakatoa in Lampung province, and other islands including Panaitan, as well as smaller offshore islets such as Handeuleum and Peucang in the Sunda Strait. The main animals that are rare and protected this forest one of them is the Javan rhino. Ujung Kulon National Park is in southwest Serang with a distance of over 140 km.

7. Bukit Batulawang (Batulawang Hill)
Batu Lawang hill is a favorite tourist destination for residents Cilegon Banten even because the air is still fresh. As far as the eye could see, looked expanse of green tree lush hills and when we look towards the bottom of the valley seen panoramic beauty of the city of Cilegon, as well as the industrial area along the beach and blue sea Sunda Strait filled with ships to the port of Merak, or going towards Bakauheni. This hill has an altitude of 100 meters and is located at northeast Serang with the distance of about 33 km.

8 Kampung Masyarakat Baduy (Baduy Community Village)
 Baduy is an indigenous group of sub-Sundanese in the district of Lebak, Banten. Their population is around 5,000 to 8,000 people, and they constitute one of the tribes that apply isolation from the outside world. In addition they also have confidence taboo to be photographed, especially the Baduy population in the region. They would not be affected by technology, resisted all influences coming from outside their environment and choose to stay united with nature and stay alive as traditional era.
Location Baduy precisely located at the foot of the mountains in the village Kendeng Kanekes, Leuwidamar subdistrict, Lebak-Rangkasbitung, Banten, or in the southern city of Serang at the distance of about 75 km.

9. Pantai Tanjung Layar (Tanjung Layar Beach)
Tanjung Layar Beach is a promontory in the district of Bayah, Lebak, Banten Province. Tanjung Layar Beach is a very unique beach with a view of the twin conical rock, which occurs due to natural phenomena hundreds of years ago.  The beach is located in the South Attacking with the distance of 150 km 

10. Pulau Peucang (Peucang Island)
Peucang Island is an island located in the Strait of Panaitan Pandeglang Banten or east Ujung Kulon National Park and included in the territory of the National Park Ujung Kulon.
Named Peucang takes its name from a type of snail that is often found on its shores. The locals used to call "eyes Peucang". "Peucang" also is a term in Sundanese to mention the deer.
As part of the National Park Ujung Kulon, on the island can be found a variety of wildlife such as deer (Cervus timorensis), Bull Java (Bos sundaicus), Green Peacock (Pavo muticus), monkey (Trachypithecus auratus auratus), Deer, Wild Boar (Sus verrucosus) and dragons.
The beach is very beautiful island with white sand with green sea bluish. The blue color of the sea is ideal for swimming, diving, fishing or snorkeling.

11.  Pantai Carita (Carita Beach)
Carita Beach is a tourist attraction located in Pandeglang, Banten Province. This beach is famous for its white sand beaches and rich in natural resources. Overlays are very sloping edges with small sea waves and gently swept along the beach, combined with views of Mount Krakatoa. Distance from Jakarta to Carita beach about 130km can through the Jakarta-Merak toll road and exit at toll booths East Cilegon.
Amenities at Carita Beach is complete ie Banana boat, snorkeling, skateboarding, diving, and other amenities. There are also many lodges along the coast and or homes of residents who functioned for lodging.

12. Pulau Panaitan (Panaitan Island)
Panaitan, is an island located to the west of the Java Sea, near Ujung Kulon. Panaitan island between Java and limited by Panaitan Strait. Administratively, the island is included in the Pandeglang district, Banten.Panaitan the hills covered by forests and a wide variety of wild animals, such as deer, wild boar, monkey, python and birds. Several types of freshwater crocodiles and giant lizards can also be found here. One of the high hill known as Mount Raksa, where encountered ancient Hindu sculptures at its peak.Because in the Ujung Kulon National Park area, Panaitan Island is also accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with Peucang and Handeuleum Island. Panaitan Island coastline dotted with a broad sand beach naturally creates some tourist sites to enjoy scuba diving reefs and create great waves for surfers. One of the dive sites famous in this place is Pitak stone coral reef near Legon Butun . However, due to strong currents and other natural factors, diving around Pulau Panaitan not recommended for novice divers. 

13. Pulau Dua/ Pulau Burung (Dua/Burung Island)
Nature reserve dua/burung island is administratively located in the village of Sawah Luhur districts Kasemen Serang Banten province. The distance was not far from the city center. Only about 30 Km from Kota Serang. It is located in the north Banten, and in southeast Banten Lama.
When you first get to this point you might wonder why is called the island when the terrain is not separate. It turns out, the bird island is an island separated from Java, separated by the strait width of 500 m. When the tide was receding, the mainland's second fused.
But because of the silting of rivers Cibanten so the effect on the level of land and boundaries between islands became unclear. Finally mainland together with the bird island of Java. Who was only 8 spacious single hectare to 30 hectares after the land together with the bird island of Java
One attraction of this place is when birds from different places gathered when migrating. They stopped and breed. These birds generally come from the northern and southern hemisphere.

14. Pulau Sangiang (Sangiang Island)
Sangiang island is famous for its natural fascinating underwater, marine life is very diverse, white sandy beaches and crystal clear sea and still empty. Sangiang not only storing abundant marine wealth. The land also has extraordinary beauty. Among them is the Harapan hill and Cave of bat. The view from the top of the Harapan hill is amazing and beautiful.
On this island we could be hiking, biking, camping and enjoying the natural scenery of the steep coast or ramps. Marine Tourism here is equally interesting and fascinating. snorkeling, diving, fishing and sunbathing on the beach can be done here.
On this island we can also enjoy and observe remnants of war into two namely forts former Japanese defense. Loaksinya be around heading the Navy.

15. Pantai Bagedur (Bagedur Beach)
Bagedur beach located in the village Sukamanah, Malingping subdistrict, Lebak, Banten. The distance is not far from the town of Rangkasbitung, only about 115 Km. Turkish Bagedur have panyai long lines of up to 10 Km along the coast up to 50 meters wide. Coupled with the flatness of this beach and dense sand beaches, this beach allows laced by motor vehicles. 

16. Pantai Cihara (Cihara Beach)
Cihara beash located in Kampung Sukahuja, Village Ciparahu, Lebak. Banten Province. Cihara Beach have different characteristics in each of the right and left.
On the right side of this coast, huge waves pounding the typical South Sea Java clash with reefs and rocks into the allure attractive to be enjoyed while on the left side Cihara Beach decorated with colored sand is pure white. In this area is also a fitting place for visitors to play around with the waves and sea water. Although there are rocks around it, but the pounding waves on the left side of the beach is not dangerous for the visitors.

17. Pantai Ciantir (Ciantir Beach)
Ciantir beach is located in the village Sawarna, districts Lebak, Banten province, when taken from Jakarta takes about 7 hours. Ciantir beach has a length of approximately 1.5 km to the sea is blue and clear water, decorated well with white sand stretching around the beach with shady green trees. Hidden beach is not crowded in the visit tourists locally. The beach is divided into two differences that beaches have big waves and small waves, beach location with huge waves are at the east side of the beach, making it ideal in the use of the tourists who love the activity of a surfer and surf and be the perfect choice, while having the waves small are on the west side of the beach, and the area is becoming a safe location for the guys who just want to enjoy the panoramic beauty of the sea is just enough to do the swim and play water only ..
