Beautiful Scenary from Lampung


Lampung is a southernmost province in Sumatra Island, Indonesia, located in the capital Bandar Lampung. north bordering Bengkulu and South Sumatra, west of the Sunda Strait and in the East Java Sea. The province has an area of 35376.50 sq km has several islands included in the province of Lampung, mostly located in the Bay of Lampung, among them: the island Darot, Legundi Island, Pulau Tegal, Sebuku Island, Island Ketagian, Sebesi Island, Poahawang Island, the island of Krakatoa Island End and Tabuan Island. There is also the appearance and Pulau Pisang Island at the entrance to the district of West Lampung. Lampung province has many beautiful natural scenery and some of them are as follows :

1. Pantai Terbaya (Terbaya Beach)
Terbaya beach located in the village Terbaya Eastern City District Court Tanggamus. This beach can be taken approximately 2-3 hours drive from the city of Bandar Lampung. The beautiful beach has become one of the main goals in Tanggamus beach. The beach is a little different from the beaches in general are predominantly white sand. Terbaya black sandy beach and a lot of rocks scattered along the shoreline. These marine rocks had been there since ancient times. The more to the right coast, the more the marble stones to be found.




2. Pulau Pahawang (Pahawang Island)
Pahawang Island is an island located in the District Punduh Padada, Pasawaran district, South Lampung. The island is divided into two Pahawang Pulau Besar and Pulau Small Pahawang. Island Pahawang save a lot of beauty. Beautiful scenery, hills of green trees, white sand beaches, crystal clear sea water and fresh. on this island. It is suitable for sports enthusiasts snorkelling. Even in Island Small Pahawang there is a natural bridge called Tanjung Putus. Tanjung Putus connects the island to the island of Cape Small Pahawang. Tanjung Putus can only be seen during low tide because when the water tide, this natural bridge will be under water. 



3. Pulau Legundi (Legundi Island)
Pulau Legundi (also spelled Lagoendi) is an Indonesian island in the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra. It is one of the larger islands in the Strait and lies at the western end of Sumatra's Lampong Bay, in the province of Lampung. Legundi island has great tourism potential among the expanse of clean white sand along the western coast. In Legundi also we can enjoy the attractions of wild dolphins in the Strait Legundi and exotic coral and tuna fishing activity. Unfortunately, the beauty of the village which has an area of 2500 hectares (1800 hectares of land and 700 hectares of the sea) does not yet have the infrastructure supporting adequate travel.



4. Taman Nasional Way Kambas 
(Way Kambas National Park)
Way Kambas National Park is a lowland forest ecosystem consisting of freshwater swamp forests, grassland /shrub, and coastal forests in Sumatra. Way Kambas National Park has 50 species of mammals including Sumatran rhino, the Sumatran elephant , Sumatran tiger, the tapir, wild dog, gibbon; 406 species of birds including ducks forest, woolly-necked stork, stork casks, pheasants blue, kuau, pecuk snake; various types of reptiles, amphibians, fish, and insects.In this national park are the Elephant Training Center (9 km from the gate Plang Ijo) can be used as elephant riding, attractions, transport timber and plow the fields. At the elephant training center, can be seen coaches educate and train wild elephants, watched elephant playing soccer, dancing, shake hands, respect, draping flowers, tug of war, swimming and many other attractions. The elephant training center established in 1985. Until now it has succeeded in educating and taming elephants about 300 individuals.



5. Air Terjun Putri Malu (Putri Malu Waterfall) 
Air Terjun Malu Located in the village Juku Batu, District Banjit, Regency Way Kanan, Lampung. Waterfall Putri Malu has an altitude of ± 80 m. The waterfall is falling down curved back mauve resembles human bathing, it is the background of this waterfall is called "Putri Malu".



6. Pantai Pisang (Banana Beach)
Banana Island is one of the westernmost island in Lampung province, directly overlooking the Indian Ocean. This island represents one district alone in the West Coast District, Lampung Province. Name Banana Island caused the island is shaped like a banana. when viewed from the top of mainland Sumatra. To Taking this island we have to explore the western province of Lampung, starting with the road trip to the city of Krui with the distance of approximately 7 hours drive from the city of Bandar Lampung. From Krui crossed by boat with a span of 1 hour.
The island has characteristics very natural, the sea where there are many dolphins into excess. Island in Lampung is even more natural because of the lack of electricity and lodging.



7. Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan 
(Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park)
Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park is a national park in Sumatra, Indonesia. The park located along the Bukit Barisan mountain range, has a total area of 3,568 km2, and spans three provinces: Lampung, Bengkulu, and South Sumatra. The national park stretching along the Bukit Barisan mountain range is in average only 45 km wide but 350 km long. The northern part is mountainous with its highest point at Gunung Pulung (1,964 m), while its southern section is a peninsula. It is covered by montane forest, lowland tropical forest, coastal forest and mangrove forest.
The park is home to many endangered and threatened species, including Sumatran elephant. Sumatran striped rabbit, Sumatran rhinoceros and Sumatran tiger. Plants in the park include Nipa palm, Casuarina equisetifolia, Anisoptera curtisii and Gonystylus bancanus, as well as Sonneratia, Pandanus, Shorea and Dipterocarpus species. Large flowers in the park include the Rafflesia arnoldii, Amorphophallus decus-silvae, Amorphophallus titanum and the world's largest orchid the Grammatophyllum speciosum 



8. Pantai Marina (Marina Beach)
Marina beach, the beach is located in the Coastal South Lampung Precisely 10km before the town Trump. To go to the beach it takes about 1.5-2 hours drive from Bandar Lampung. The route is Bandar Lampung heading to Sumatra highway leading to Bakauheni approximately 40 km, and then enter the path to Krakatoa Resort (Grand Elty) from which we still have road again around 5 km and then we'll meet signpost beach marina faded. This beach consists of many reef so must be careful when along its shores 



9. Teluk Kiluan (Kiluan Bay)
Kiluan Bay is a tourist spot located in the village Kiluan State, District Kelumbayan, Tanggamus, South Lampung, Sumatra or about 80 kilometers from downtown Bandar Lampung. This place is the migration for a set of dolphins type of bottle mouth.
This bay has the natural scenery and the beaches are quite stunning. White sand beaches and gentle. Quite harmonious with sea water clear blue. Not far from this bay there is one other attractions namely Pulau Kelapa also called Sparkle Island. This island is a small island located in the middle of the bay.
In addition to swimming and snorkeling in the bay you can see the attraction of a bunch of dolphins. Things from collection of dolphins can usually be seen in the morning around 06.00 - 10.00 hrs. However, to be able to see the attraction of this first must hire a small boat or Jukung.
 



10. Pantai Batu Layar (Batu Layar Beach)
Batu Layar is a beach located in the village of Pegadungan, District Kalumbayan, Tanggamus Lampung. beaches strewn with rocks is very quiet peaceful behind a clump of pepononan. Batu Layar beach, many are calling Batu Hiu because of the rock that stands firmly in there similar to the famous shark's teeth sharp and pointy. Even this beach as one of the destinations where dolphins play 



11 Pantai Batu Lapis (Batu Lapis Beach)
Are you bored with the usual beach? Come to the Batu Lapis beaxh. Batu Lapis beach located in the village of Totoharjo, District Bakauheni, South Lampung District, Lampung Province. The cluster of neatly arranged stone terraces along the beach into exotic sights that are rarely found elsewhere. Batu Lapis  beach offers a different feel than the beaches in general. The beach is different because the rock layers are quite spacious and eroded by sea water waves making it uniquely shaped rocks like piles and wooden tables. The road getting there was relatively quite difficult because of the absence of a permanent road. Not far from the beach Stone Lapis




12. Pantai Pulau Kelagian (Kelagian Island Beach)

Kelagian island located in the District Pesawaran, Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. The island has a beach that is clear, clean and unspoiled, with a view of green trees that can be used for shelter on the outskirts of the beach, the expanse of fine white sand is very comfortable for a children's playground and water is also very clear and comfortable for swimming, traveling across the island is a favored activity that many tourists
