Beautiful Scenary from DI Yogyakarta

DI Yogyakarta is the Special Region is located near the southern coast of Java, wholly within the province of Central Java. DI Yogyakarta has an area of 3,133.15 km2, making it the second-smallest area of the provinces in Indonesia, after the Jakarta Capital Region. As in other regions in Indonesia DI Yogyakarta also has many beautiful landscapes that are:


1. Pantai Parangtritis (Parangtritis Beach)
Parangtritis is the name of a beach located south of the city of Yogyakarta with the distance as far as 29 km. This beautiful beach directly opposite the Indian Ocean.




2. Air Terjun Sri Gethuk (Sri Getuk Waterfall)
Waterfall Sri Gethuk located in Padukuhan (Hamlet) Menggoran, Bleberan Village, District Playen Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. This waterfall flanked by high cliffs with a height of around 50 meters. Located between Oya River gorge surrounded by rice fields. Waterfall Sri Gethuk position located to the east of the city of Yogyakarta with the distance as far as 36.3 km.



3 Gunung Api Purba Nglanggeran 
(Nglanggeran Prehistoric Vulcano)
Nglanggeran mountain is a mountain in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This mountain is the only ancient volcano in Yogyakarta formed from magma clots occurring approximately 60 million years ago. Mount Nglanggeran composed of igneous rocks such as andesite, lava and andesite breccia. The mountain is located in the village of Nglanggeran, District Patuk, Gunung Kidul located in a row of Sewu Mountains. The location of this mountain is in Baturagung, Patuk, Gunung Kidul. East of Yogyakarta, within 25 kilometers.



4. Gumuk Pasir di Parangtritis 
(Sand Dunes at Parangtritis)
Parangtritis sand dunes, or “Gumuk Pasir Parangtritis” according to local tongue, were formed in thousand years of natural process. Some experts said that the sands were actually volcanic materials erupted by Mt.Merapi which flowed along the stream of Opak and Progo rivers to their estuaries in the south sea. The materials then been brought to the shore by strong waves, and after dried by the sun, the smooth and light sands blew by strong wind came from the ocean. Since Parangtritis beach was bordered by limestone hills, the sands could not pass the hills and fell before them, made a desert like area on an open part of the land between the hills and the beach. The wind that blew continuously in the area from various directions in a certain times made the sands became sand dunes with various unique forms. Located adjacent to Parangtritis this makes it easy to sand dunes on the go. Sand dunes located on the west coast Parangtritis, exactly in between Parangtritis and Depok Beach.



5. Pantai Jogan (Jogan Beach)
Jogan beach located in Purwodadi, District Tepus, Gunung Kidul Regency of Yogyakarta Special Region of Yogyakarta city to the southeast. Jogan beach occupies a privileged position because it has a uniqueness that is a waterfall that fell from the cliff into the sea mouth Jogan. Height of the waterfall is about 10 m with source water from karst hills in north.



6. Pantai Siung (Siung Beach)
Siung rich in huge coral reefs. Coral cliff climbing has 250 channels, also the right place to enjoy a panoramic view of the beach. There are also coral resembling cloves Wanara the basis of naming pantai.Pantai Siung located in a remote area in Gunung Kidul, just south districts Tepus. The distance is about 70 km from the city center towards the southeast, or about 2 hours drive.



7. Air Terjun Kedung Kandang (Kedung Kandang Beach)
Kedung Kandang is terraced waterfall that runs through the black rock in the area of terraced rice fields.This waterfall has more than 10 levels. It lies in Putat village, district. Pathuk, Gunung Kidul. with distance as far as 16 km from Yogyakarta.



8. Gua Selarong (Selarong Cave)
Selarong cave is a cave-laden history, located in Hamlet Kembangputihan, Sub Displays, Bantul regency, Yogyakarta province. Caves formed in the hills of limestone was used as the headquarters of the guerrilla Prince Diponegoro in the Java War (1825-1830) against the army of the Dutch East Indies. Pangeran Diponegoro moved into this cave after his home in Tegalrejo attacked and burned down by the Dutch. This cave is located in the southwest city of Yogyakarta with the distance of 13 km.



9. Pantai Trisik (Trisik Beach
Trisik Beach, as well as some of the beaches in Kulon Progo, a black sandy beach. The beauty of the panorama presented Trisik Beach became one of the attractions that make the tourists visit this beach.
Just spend time or searching the shoreline into the activities you can do on this beach. Additionally, you can enjoy a feast for the eyes with its green paddy fields and coconut groves belonging to residents in the surrounding area of the beach. The beach is located in the south of Yogyakarta at a distance of about 35 km. 



 
10. Pantai Kukup (Kukup Beach)
Kukup beach area that is located in Gunung Kidul is also a pilot arrangement of coastal resorts. In fact, Turkish Kukup became a pilot project for the development and management of coastal tourist area in Gunung Kidul. The beach is located in the southeast of Yogyakarta at the distance of about 58 km



11. Pantai Gua Cemara (Gua Cemara Beach)
Gua Cemara beach is located in the village Pathean Gadingsari Sanden, Bantul, Yogyakarta province. Named Goa Cemara for many coastal shores of fir trees, and so many, between the branches of the tree branches intertwined with another to resemble a cave



12. Goa Pindul (Pindul Cave)
Pindul cave is the natural attractions railing Cavern, with the river flow through the corridor, which is located in the hamlet of Gelaran 2, Bejiharjo Village, District Karangmojo, Gunung Kidul Regency. Precisely in the east of the city of Yogyakarta. Pindul cave has a length of approximately 350 meters, the traverse can be reached by 40-60 minutes of normal time. 13. Pantai Ngrenehan (Ngrenehan Beach)
Ngrenehan Beach is located in Kanigoro, District Saptosari, Gaunungkidul Regency of Yogyakarta Special Region, a beach in the form of bay surrounded expanse of limestone hills and has a panoramic view of very spectacular with the waves hit the white sand. This Ngrenehan beach including beach that is not too broad, with an area of approximately 1000 m2. The beach is flanked by two pretty big cliff and juts into the sea so that the waves are not directly crashing onto the beach because it blocked the two hills 




14. Pantai Krakal (Krakal Beach)
Krakal Beach located in the village Ngestiharjo, Tanjungsari Gunung Kidul Regency Yogyakarta. Line sloping beach with white sand and pounding waves are not too big. Krakal has a stretch of coastline is very long. The most interesting thing this beach is the emergence of a variety of fish at a certain time with the appearance of moss during the dry season comes, the fish will iakn many appeared at the beginning of the month compared to the end of the month. 15. Pantai Indrayanti (Indrayanti Beach)
Indrayanti is a beach located in District Tepus, Gunung Kidul in Yogyakarta province. Indarayati beach offers a beautiful panorama of unique compared to other beaches at Gunungkidul. Not only dazzling white sand bars or the magnificent hills of coral reefs, crystal clear sea water that looks clean blue sea water in this Indrayanti Beach are truly clean, clear, and natural because it has not been contaminated by a variety of waste.




16. Pantai Pok Tungal (Pok Tunggal Beach)
Pok Tunggal  beach is a beach located in the mountain area Kidul, Yogyakarta. Pok Tunggal beach present as the beach which is able to present the most spectacular sunset compared to other beaches . Here can be seen how the silhouettes of trees Duras formed when the sun begins to set in vast blue ocean. White sand secant into a comfortable mat for sit still enjoy the sun's sinking.




17. Pantai Sili (Sili Beach)
Slili beach located in a village called Village Sidoharjo, District Tepus, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. Precisely in the east Krakal and on the west Coast Sadranan. Slili beach is a small beach not too wide, flanked by rock hill on the right and left.
